Fear and terror has been installed in Moldova

Fear and terror has been installed in Moldova. We are afraid of getting out, of leaving the houses for shopping. We are afraid of staying in, the police can come in with force at any time and take us. Hundreds of young people have been arrested, beaten, tortured, raped, convicted without proper trial.
Half a year ago I was comparing Zimbabwe with Moldova, and unfortunately I was right.
The society is divided in two, one is against the ruling communist apparatus and others are supporting it. Those who support communist are acting against their parents, children, neighbors.
My friend who is a teacher in the village were my parents live, said that some 9th grade students wrote on the blackboard “Jos Comunistii“ (Down with the communists) and some teachers called the police who took these children to the police office.
We are going to our offices and cannot work because we feel like we lost someone we love. And we lost our freedom. We don’t know what’s going on. The main internet sources of information has been blocked, even social sites like Facebook. Needless to say, all national media is controlled by the government.
I feel like I’m in the middle of a nightmare and I cannot wake up.
